Biography

As the last remaining member of the original Scholars' College faculty, I have been teaching at NSU for 33 years. I spent nine years in Paris where I earned a DUEG and a Licence ès lettres from the Sorbonne and a Maîtrise ès lettres - lettres comparées from the Sorbonne Nouvelle. I was introduced to Spanish while living in Austin, Texas and love reading both Spanish and French books. While in Austin, I joined the Austin Rowing Team and was still rowing when I moved to Natchitoches. I started the NSU Rowing Team and am very proud of their growth and success.
