Biography

Prior to coming to work at NSU, I was a high school mathematics teacher. I taught at a small school, so I was the only math teacher and taught every course offered. I was chosen as the District High School Teacher of the Year in 2020. I hold an undergraduate in Mathematics Education from NSU and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Louisiana College. I am also a certified Mentor in the state of Louisiana. I am currently working on my doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. I am currently the instructor for EDUC 2020 and EDUC 4010. I also serve as the coordinator for alternate certification. I am the secondary coordinator, as well as the sponsor of Educators Rising.
