Biography

Mrs. Eastin is a dedicated Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who has been providing compassionate care to children since 2016, with a special focus on underserved populations. In 2022, she earned her Pediatric Mental Health Specialist certification, further strengthening her expertise in addressing the emotional and behavioral needs of young patients. Since 2019, she has served as the Coordinator of Northwestern State University’s Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program, where she guides and mentors the next generation of advanced practice nurses. Currently a PhD candidate at Louisiana State University, her research centers on autism studies, with an expected completion in spring 2029. Mrs. Eastin is an active member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
