Biography

Anna Morris, DNP, RN, CNE is the Senior Director of Nursing and Chief Nursing Administrator at Northwestern State University and holds the rank of Associate Professor.  Dr. Morris has been a maternal-child nurse since 2006, until she moved to teaching full-time in 2013.  She has worked in both the traditional and non-traditional BSN programs.  Dr. Morris is a member of Beta Chi, NSU's chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International.

Dr. Morris completed her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science in 1999, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006, and her Masters of Science in Nursing (Education) in 2011 at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. She completed her DNP (Organizational and Systems Leadership) in 2018 at Northwestern State University.

Dr. Morris resides in Bossier City with her husband, Matt, and twin girls, Abbie and Sophie.
