Biography

Debbie Huber McInnis RN  BSN  CNOR-E is the NSU Nursing Clinical Skills Lab Coordinator since 2017.  Prior to joining NSU, Ms McInnis served as the Director of Perioperative Services at Christus Highland Hospital in Shreveport, LA for 8 years. In this role, responsible for the departments of the Operating Room,  Anesthesia, PACU, and Sterile Processing.   Ms McInnis also retired with over 21 years Operating Room experience from LSU Medical Center,  Level 1 trauma center in Shreveport, LA , starting in 1980 as an RN in the OR , to various Clinical OR Supervisor roles, then becoming the Director of Surgical Services, responsible for all surgical services provided, including Sterile Processing.  Certified PeriOperative Nurse (CNOR) is in emeritus status.
