Biography
Melissa earned her BSN degree in May 1995 from Wilkes University and graduated from anesthesia school in 1999 with a master’s degree in health administration from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. In 2009, she obtained a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from Chatham University in Pittsburgh and shortly thereafter, received an MBA degree. Most recently, she earned a JD in the spring of 2019 and passed the July 2019 California State Bar Exam.
Dr. Lucas has taught online and in classroom courses for St. Joseph’s University, Wilkes University, Thomas Jefferson University and Drexel University. In addition, she is the owner of CRNAconferences.com, a company providing continuing education for CRNAs. She has lectured at annual meetings for multiple state associations of nurse anesthetists.
