Biography

Myla Landry, DNP, RN, MEDSURG-BC, NPD-BC is the BSN Traditional Coordinator at Northwestern State University College of Nursing. Dr. Landry received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1997 from Grambling State University.  She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing Education in 2015 from Grambling State University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Organizational Systems Leadership from Northwestern State University in 2019. Dr. Landry has a clinical background in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Telemetry, Nursing Professional Development, and previously served as a Training Center Coordinator for the American Heart Association.

Dr. Landry is certified in Medical Surgical Nursing and Nursing Professional Development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is currently a member of the Louisiana League of Nursing serving as Treasurer, American Nurses Association, Louisiana State Nurses Association, Shreveport District Nurses Association, Academy of Medical Surgical Nurses, Association for Nursing Professional Development, and the Beta Chi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society for Nursing.
