Biography

My educational background includes a B.S. in Biochemistry from LSU-Shreveport and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Rice University. I am currently an assistant professor in the Biology and Microbiology department and have taught a variety of courses (including Epidemiology, Nursing Chemistry, Nursing Microbiology, and Nursing Genetics) during my tenure at NSU. I love teaching and hope that all students can be filled with excitement and wonder at the amazing world of the Biological and Chemical Sciences!
