Biography

As a current doctoral graduate faculty, I have led numerous doctoral and graduate students, both as a major professor and committee member.  I have been blessed to have over 23 years of clinical experience both as a Registered Nurse and Registered Respiratory Therapist.   In June 2019, I was promoted to Associate Professor and am the Interprofessional Research and Instructional Technology Coordinator for the College of Nursing School of Allied Health. 

I have been awarded three NIH/AACN grants for the All of US Research program and was responsible for leading and coordinated events in Shreveport, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Ruston and Monroe between state institutions. I also work with Nursing and Rad Sci. faculty on iPad technology, ATI proctored testing application development, and ExamSoft Secure Assessment Software.  I chair the CONSAH Scientific Review Committee (SRC) to assist both students and faculty bring their research interest to life.
