Biography

Randy earned a BA in Sociology from Northwestern State University of Louisiana, an MS in Psychology from University of Louisiana Monroe, and an MSW in Social Work from Delaware State University. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Randy has a long history of providing social work services and mental health services to persons in many settings: e.g., to children with behavioral disorders and to adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses in community outpatient mental health clinics; to adjudicated adolescent males in secure facilities; to children and adults involved with child protective services; to hospice patients and members of their families; to adult male prison inmates; to residents of nursing and rehabilitation facilities; etc.

In August of 2023, Randy had the pleasure of joining the Department of Social Work at Northwestern State University of Louisiana as an Assistant Professor and as the Director of Field Instruction.
