Biography
Ellen Grappe studied neuroscience and conducted research on treatment-resistant depression at the University of Alabama at Birmingham before moving to Louisiana. After obtaining her BSN at NSU, she worked at Ochsner's Burn ICU and Neurosurgical ICU. She went on to work crisis contracts during the peak of the COVID pandemic. She returned to Louisiana to work in mental health and loved it so much, she decided to obtain her MSN. Now, she works part-time as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and loves to educate both her students and patients on the medications that treat mental disorders.
