Biography

Jodie Ford, MSN, RN is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing and School of Allied Health. She received her BSN from Northwestern State University in Shreveport in 2017 and her MSN in Nursing Education from the University of Texas at Tyler in May 2025. Mrs. Ford also completed her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication: Public Relations at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2008. 

Mrs. Ford's clinical background includes Adult Med/Surg and Critical Care. She is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Beta Chi Chapter.
