Biography

Jessica Ferguson, MSRS, RT(R) is an assistant professor for the College of Nursing and School of Allied Health's Radiologic Sciences program. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences in 2009 from Northwestern State University. After pursuing her career goals, she returned to NSU to complete her Master of Science in Radiologic Sciences in June of 2020. In 2024, she was hired by NSU as an assistant professor for the radiography concentration. She has since served NSU's students by sharing her clinical expertise and knowledge. At this time, Mrs. Ferguson has also began her journey to complete her Doctoral degree in Adult Learning and Development through NSU. 

 

Jessica Ferguson shows her commitment to her profession and university through her roles not only in the university, but also in state and national organizations. She is the current recorder for the university's APDG committee and a member of Faculty Senate. She is also an active member of ASRT, LSRT, was the 2024-2025 LERS Vice Chair, and now the 2025-2026 LERS Chair.
