Biography

Melissa Rennie, DNP, RN, CNE is the Shreveport Campus Coordinator at NSU's College of Nursing and School of Allied Health.  Dr. Rennie graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeast LA University, her Master of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Northwestern State University.  Her clinical background includes critical care, medical/surgical, rehabilitation, and case management.  

Holding the academic rank of Associate Professor, Dr. Rennie has taught in various undergraduate courses during her 17 years at NSU and currently teaches in pre-clinical, 2nd level, and 5th level nursing courses.
