Biography

I am Katie Gill Coody, one of the two Registered Veterinary Technician/Technologists on staff at NSULA in the Veterinary Technology Program.  I graduated with an Associate Degree in 2008. After graduation, I worked at an emergency veterinary hospital for 7 years and a general practice for 11 years (to current).  Accepting the position as RVT for the program in 2012 allowed for the undertaking of a new career path: teaching others about the intricacies of veterinary nursing. I also was able to enhance my quest of knowledge and earn a BS in Veterinary Technology in 2015.  Because of my profound passion of animals, I am devoted to the cooperative learning we provide our students, so that they may become skilled and knowledgeable technicians.
