Biography
Rebecca Farmer (Becky) MSRS, RT(R)(M), graduated from NSU in 1993 with her BS degree in Radiologic Technology. She went on to complete her Master's in Radiologic Science Education at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mrs. Farmer is married and has 4 young adult children. She is very involved in her church, teaching online for other universities and loves to garden, fish and travel.
Mrs. Farmer serves as a full time faculty at NSU in the College of Nursing and School of Allied Health and has done so since the Fall of 2001. She is the coordinator of the RT to BSRS program which enables technologists with a 2 year degree or certificate to return to college and obtain their BS degree. While at NSU she has served in many roles, been active in committee service, community service and has held the role of clinical coordinator in the past. Mrs. Farmer has published scholarly research, presented on the local, state and national levels over 100 times and is active in her profession. Mrs. Farmer loves students and advising in one of her greatest joys of her role as faculty.
