Biography
Rebecca Farmer (Becky) MSRS, RT(R)(M), graduated from NSU in 1993 with her BS degree in Radiologic Technology. She went on to complete her Master's in Radiologic Science Education at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mrs. Farmer is married and has 4 young adult children. She is very involved in her church, teaching online for other universities and loves to garden, scrapbook, fish and travel. Mrs. Farmer is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Louisiana Tech for Educational Leadership.
Mrs. Farmer serves as the Department Head of the School of Allied Health at NSU in the College of Nursing and School of Allied Health and has done so since the Fall of 2025. She has been employed as a full time faculty at NSU for 25 years. While at NSU she has served in many roles, been active in committee service, community service and has held the role of clinical coordinator in the past. Mrs. Farmer has published scholarly research, presented on the local, state and national levels over 100 times and is active in her profession. Mrs. Farmer loves students and advising in one of her greatest joys of her role as faculty.
