Biography

Landon Amberg

Graduated from University of Nevada, Las Vegas

              with a Master of Science in Hotel Administration

Graduated from Northwestern State University

              with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management & Tourism.

 

His hospitality experience started at Merci Beaucoup Restaurant in Natchitoches as a server while completing an undergraduate degree.

After UNLV, Landon started working for Marriott Hotels. Gained experience with Marriott as a General Manager in California, Texas, and Oklahoma.

Before moving back to Louisiana in 2014, he was the Senior Manager of Room Operations for the Minneapolis Marriott City Center.  

Landon is grateful for the opportunity to teach at NSU because what he learned at NSU was applied daily while working in the hospitality industry.
